There are few things that can compare with the smoldering hot days of a Texas summer. Luckily us Texans have adapted (sort of) and developed our own coping mechanisms. Ice cold slices of watermelon, days on the lake, air conditioning, and enjoying the afternoons with a cold drink and a little live music. O'Breins Pub in downtown Temple has its finger on the pulse of what we sweaty Central Texans are looking for as the days get a little longer and a lot hotter. They are hosting a concert series throughout the summer at their outdoor courtyard! You won't believe the line up. Some of what I would consider big names of Central Texas will be playing.
