About

Hey y'all.  I'm Amy Hyink!  I'm a fairly new resident to the Wildflower capital of Texas.  My husband, and I (and sometimes my pups Banana and Abby), love trying new things out, and are obsessed with all things local.  We get our meat from local meat markets, grab lunch at mom and pops, and love perusing unique shops that give this town so much character.  We really encourage you to break away from the anywhere USA you see from I-35, come on in, and try something uniquely Temple!

This blog is really for anyone who wants to explore.  Whether you are passing through and want to grab lunch at a local joint, or you are a newcomer looking to get acquainted with some of the local charm, or even if you have lived here for years but want to try some new things out, this blog is for you.

As you can tell, this blog is in the formative stages.  I am making it a goal and priority to try to post once or twice a week.  If you are looking for some advice please don't be shy.  Email me anytime.  I would love to help you explore the local charm!
